Greetings from Aequs Infra!
As I write to you all, it is heartening to say that we have moved from the third phase of the Pandemic and lockdowns. It is also heartening to see that the world has opened up and we are seeing improving post-pandemic business and social activities in all spheres. Aequs INFRA too has its own fair share of exciting developments and increased traction in the quarter just gone by. Those familiar with Aequs will know how the group has contributed to the development of North Karnataka as a global manufacturing destination. With three clusters in the region, and a potential employment close to 50,000 workers, the Aequs clusters are indeed game changers for the region.
Aequs INFRA participated in the premier industry event, the TiECon (The Indus Entrepreneurs Conference) Hubli last month highlighting these unique achievements. The Hon’ble CM Shri Basavaraj Bommai and Aequs Chairman & CEO, Aravind Melligeri participated in the event. Continuing on the topic of manufacturing clusters, Aequs participated in an enriching discussion with Commissioner, Department of Industries and Commerce, Ms. Gunjan Krishna and other industry stalwarts at a webinar facilitated by the Times of India. We discussed the role of manufacturing clusters in positioning India for the China+1 opportunity and how ecosystems like the ones built by Aequs offer a unique value proposition for manufacturers. Taking recourse to manufacturing as a service, as practiced by Aequs, was perhaps the most optimal solution to the burning issues confronting them today.
I also had interesting interactions with members of TAITMA, the leading toy manufacturers’ association, explaining the unique value proposition of the Koppal Toy Cluster. This quarter’s newsletter has quite a few interesting updates about our clusters. Please do catch up on what we are doing and share your valuable inputs at inframarketing@aequs.com.
Kishore Rao,
CEO, Aequs INFRA
