Belagavi, April 5, 2023: It has been a great March for Aequs with multiple recognitions being conferred during the month by Airbus on the company.
Starting with the latest first, the world’s leading airframer recognized Aequs last week with the highest supplier award in the Airbus Supply Chain & Quality Improvement Program, also known as SQIP, the “Accredited SQIP AWARD”.
The Award was received by Olivier de Rohan Chabot, Head, at Aequs’ Cholet plant, on behalf of Aequs on March 28th at a ceremony in Toulouse, France. This is the fourth consecutive SQIP recognition for Aequs.
The award signifies the consistency demonstrated by Team Aequs and the process enablers in place across the company for long-term sustenance in customer delivery and quality. It is significant that the Award is the outcome of 30 months of sustained performance, which would not have been possible but for the teams’ hard work. It is also a strong vote of confidence from our customers in our people, processes, and performance.
What is more satisfying is that this recognition comes close on the heels of two other awards given by Airbus to Aequs last month – the Airbus Operational Excellence Award, and the D2P CHALLENGER Award for 2023.
Mohamed Bouzidi, President, Aerospace Business, Aequs received the Awards on March 14.
These recognitions are reflective of Airbus’ continued confidence in our sustained performance and strategic position as a trusted supplier. Most significantly, we have sustained our record of 100% OTIF to Airbus consistently over the past 27 months. We have achieved this through continuous process improvement and manufacturing innovation, thereby preserving our competitive edge as a global manufacturing partner.
